I've used Tom Saviano to do 2 big kitchen remodels for me over 10 years. I've been happy with how they both turned out. Obviously I chose to use him again. Some things I really appreciate about Tom - 1) He keeps value in mind and will recommend great ways to achieve the desired outcome price efficiently so you get "bang for the buck." 2) He's reliable. When he says his guys will be there, they will be there. 3) He's experienced and knows how to navigate projects smoothly. A couple of notes for having a successful project. First, Tom is old school and you're going to have a better time if you just call him on the phone rather than sending him a long email. Second, construction projects can be unpredictable and frustrating. Having a good relationship with your contractor is very important as you'll need to be flexible as unexpected stuff comes up. I feel that I can trust Tom to complete the project in a way I'm happy with, he can navigate changes, and that he genuinely is motivated to do a good job.

Tom Saviano is an extremely knowledgeable and communicative contractor. He listens to your priorities, and in my case it was staying within the budget - and he did it! The work took longer than expected, but it was done well. His main workers had some family health issues, but they are all wonderful people. Tom made sure things were done right by numerous subcontractors; he wants to make sure his customers are "happy" and he guarantees the work for seven years. He checked in on the site very frequently, made changes that were needed. I am extremely pleased with the spacious and daylight-filled 500 foot ADU that he built from my old garage; I am moving into it myself! I wish I had had Tom start at the design phase, and had skipped the architect.

Great Communication, Responsive, Honest. I had some shingles come off my roof due to a poor roofing job that was done by someone else several years earlier. It became apparent due to leaks in the roof. Tom Saviano, of Saviano Builders, too a look and explained to me in detail what was the problem and why my roof was starting to leak. Tom specifically responded to my email questions quickly. Took pictures and showed what needed to be fixed on my roof. Given the odd incline of my roof, it was a challenge to seal up all of the areas, and after testing the roof a couple of times for leaks, we were able to identify a couple of additional areas that needed to be sealed up. I knew Tom was an honest builder when Tom explained that even though some areas were loose, the whole roof did not need to be re-shingled. I think anyone trying to take advantage of me would have played up needing to distrust the entire roof and tell me everything needed to be replaced. Tom didn't do that. If it's not broken, don't fix it. I respected him for not taking advantage of the situation. We haven't had a leak since completing the job last year. Well Done!

Saviano Builders was recommended by our Realtor. We had a rapport with Tom from the beginning. Our kitchen needed a complete re-do as well as work on the master bathroom and extensive changes to the exterior of our home. In addition, this was a time sensitive project and Tom and his crew worked diligently to finish within the necessary window. Parts of the project were subbed out and we found their work to be excellent. Tom was very responsive to all of our questions. He stated often that his goal was 'to make up happy'. And we are.
